• Day 1
• 10h00 – Arrival and orientation (Explain Camp rules, Team duties, Merit System, Individual Team Duties, Emergency Routines, Water Savings
• 11h00 – Depart for beach – Beach clean up en route. Introductory talk
• 14h30 Conservation. Birds – Ecosystems – Poaching – Littering – Logo-build (sand castles) – Beach games – Visit and talk: Khoi-Khoi shell middens – Picnic lunch
• 14h30 – “Creepy Crawly Show” (Snakes and other creatures)
• 15h30 – Free time/ Snake Photos
• 16h00 -“Olympic Games” (Fun Activity Course) or “Survivor Course” (bigger groups to do both simultaneously)
• 18h30 – Supper and wash-up
• 19h30 – DVD: “ Mountain of the Sea” (Educational Documentary about Cape Town`s Natural Heritage)
• 20h00 – Night hike
• 21h30 – Lights out

• Day 2
• 6h00 – Quiet showers (no noise)
• 7h15 – Wake – up
• 8h00 – Awareness on beach (Quiet time) – appreciation of nature
• 8h00- Breakfast – clean-up – inspection (Team Duties)
• 9h00 – Activity Books (Camp Journals)
• 9h30 – Bird Show
• 11h00- Bird Watching Hike on Coast (Winter: Mountain Hike) Rock Pool Studies or Shell Collection Activity – Picnic under Milkwoods
• 13h00 – Lighthouse visit (includes Weather and Maritime History)
• 14h00 – Obstacle Course en-route back to Centre or Rafting and Swimming on Tidal Pool
• 17h00- Children prepare and cook food for “potjiekos” – competition –
• 19h00 – Practice for campfire concert
• 19h00 – Supper
• 20h00 – Camp Fire Concert
• 20h00 — Sitting around Camp Fire/ Educational DVD
• 22h30– Lights out

• Day 3
• 6h45 – Wake – up
• 7h30 – Awareness on beach
• 8h00 – Breakfast – clean-up – pack-up (all belongings in Lapa-check for lost property)
• 9h00 – Camp Activity Book
• 9h30 – Rock pool study or Whales and Dolphins Activity or Slide Show
• 11h00 — Kettie Shoot / Treasure Hunt/ Tug of War/ or “Olympic Games” /Survivor Course (bigger groups-see day 1)
• 12h30 – Lunch, farewell and prize-giving
• 14h00 Departure
